SELLER SAYS: 1951 Royal Enfield 500 Twin for sale. I dragged this bike home around 1970 and it sat in boxes until about 2015 and was completely rebuilt to an amazing show piece, with a Dustings sidecar. The sub-frame for that alone was $5000 and was fitted as part of my boyhood dream. However it is a bit under-powered and with the sidecar is best as a show bike. It runs beautiful and only 1 k on the clock. I do have the original clockwork speedometer and it was reconditioned and it is a collectors item in itself. I have heard over $1000 I have never seen another 500 twin and it seems to be a very rare bike. A very beautiful bike. I have just had heart surgery and it breaks my heart to sell her but I hope she finds a great new home that will appreciate her rare beauty.
