SELLER SAYS: 1972 Yamaha TX 650 for sale – (NOTE: The bike is a TX650 not an XS650. It is the same as an XS2 650 with a different shaped tank. Yamaha did this to align the models with the TX 750 and TX 500, which were completely different bikes. The XS650 continued on but the TX750 and TX500 only ran for a couple of years and faded away. So the TX650 is a one-year bike in model designation only, as they reverted back to XS650 the next year … ) Anyway, this bike starts, runs and rides like a 650 Yamaha … ;). Bike is in original condition and complete, needs a tidy up but has a few new parts. Rechromed forks (hard chrome) and new seals, new tyres, new starter sprag clutch. New shocks. Receipts for all new parts and work. Motor Manual. Original exhaust pipes and mufflers in good condition. Seat base is in great condition. The bike still has all the hard to find little parts.
