SELLER SAYS: Completely restored 1976 Honda TL125 for sale. Rebuilt motor, Ikon shocks, new lithium battery fitted discreetly under the seat. New upholstery, bars, lights, blinkers. Sammy Miller high top exhaust and Sammy Miller guards. This bike is one of a pair that have consecutive numbers (see below). I’m hoping a collector will buy them both and keep them together. 1976 Honda TL125

SELLER SAYS: This is my second Honda TL125 for sale, consecutive numbers from the factory. This bike has a Sammy Miller high-top exhaust but no lights or blinkers. It was made to replicate a competition 125cc TL.

EDITOR TERLICK SAYS: In the world history of trials, there is one name that stands out like a giant among men — Northern Irishman Sammy Miller was a very competent road racer before turning his skills to observed trials where he went on to win eleven British championships. Miller’s early days had him aboard an Ariel, but his skills and reputation saw him recruited by Bultaco (to help the Spanish firm build the wonderful Sherpa T), and then Honda to spearhead it’s TL range — and effectively to champion the spread of the sport across the world. And it worked a treat. Sammy played a hands-on role in the development of Honda’s trials bikes and the sport spread like wildfire. With Sammy out front, Honda created an ever-increasing market to sell its TL125 and TL250. Nigel tells us this wonderful pair of 125s have been together since they came out of the factory, complete with consecutive numbers. Learn more about the TL story here.
