Honda CBX1000 for sale
SELLER SAYS: Honda CBX1000. August 1978, Australian-delivered. I’ve owned this bike since Dec 1996 and it has been through a few ‘birthdays’ since then to bring it to what it is today. Time to let someone else enjoy this classic. Currently on club rego. In pretty much standard trim with Delkevic replica exhaust, KONI shocks and Hella H4 insert to smarten things up. The cam cover, exhaust flange collets, footpeg brackets and the lower triple clamp have been ceramic coated. Frame was powder coated, paint done on the first iteration and seat cover replaced. I’ve just had the head off to replace a pesky leaking exhaust valve (OEM valves) and fitted Viton stem seals, so it’s all fresh up top. When the engine proper was last apart in 2016 parts list included new starter clutch rollers and new clutch rubbers. This has been a regular rider on club outings, it is a pleasure to ride. Odo shows ~ 96,400km, I’ve done about 25,000 of those. It comes with some new spares along with two used serviceable front discs, a set of forks (originally on when I got it) and the original exhaust (aftermarket Sankei mufflers).
