SELLER SAYS: 1978 first year Honda CX500 for sale. The CX was very innovative for its day and proved to be super reliable throughout its life. Loved especially by couriers for its reliability. Now a favourite bike for cafe racer builders, so complete and original looking bikes are getting harder to find. When I purchased the bike it was running well but was looking rough around the edges. I carried out a complete strip down and the frame was powder-coated and the bike was rebuilt, replacing all the parts that needed replacing. It has been also fitted with an Australian-made Rae-San electronic ignition system, modern regulator and water pump seals replaced. It also comes with a selection of spare parts.
