Classic motorbike show returns for 2024

The Ironstone Adventure Riding Club (IARC) and The Bike Shed Times are pleased to announce The Bike Shed Times Capel River Classic 2024.

The event will be held at 1688 Goodwood Road, Capel River, Western Australia, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday October 5.

Event promoter and The Bike Shed Times editor Peter Terlick said the event would be “a celebration of classic motorbikes”.

“There will be trophies on offer for bikes entered in the Show & Shine, but this event is more than a competition; it’s a celebration of the relationship between old motorcycles and the people who ride, maintain and restore them. It’s an opportunity for the West Australian motorbike community to get together in the middle of the forest, enjoy a pie and a coffee or a beer in a beautiful location, and put our favourite classic bikes on display for everyone to see.

“Even if you don’t want to enter the Show & Shine competition, bring your classic bike out for the day anyway and let us all admire it!”

Ironstone Adventure Riding Club spokesman Jeremy Connor said the club was especially pleased that the Show & Shine included two categories dedicated exclusively to dirt bikes.

The Show & Shine will have prizes up for grabs in ten categories, including three ‘Best in Show’ awards.
