1980 Honda XL500S – $2,000 (Sold)

SELLER SAYS: A 1980 XL500 that was in the back shed for many years. It was serviced 3ish years ago, with carby kit, pod air filter, chain and sprockets. I tried to start it last weekend, however I did some damage to my hip and gave up. There is spark and fuel is getting to the carby. Possibly the decompression system is not working properly! It’s as original as I can make out, but with some LED globes. There’s a couple of boxes of parts, including air filter box, carby, speedos, switches and side cover. In its earlier life someone painted it black, I cleaned it up a bit, but there is still some colour on parts.
