A FATAL crash marred the opening round of the WA State road racing titles at Barbagallo Raceway at the weekend.
Twenty-eight-year-old Daniel Chadbund failed to take the final bend on the circuit and crashed. He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital but did not recover.
Reports suggest Daniel’s bike ran into the sand runout at the end of Barbagallo’s downhill straight, throwing Daniel from the bike and into a tyre wall.
