SELLER SAYS: 1973 Yamaha XS or TX500 for sale. The good: New tyres, electro-cleaned carburettors with rebuild kit just fitted, new petcocks, bike runs and drives well. The old style US rear markers have been changed out for modern AU required colours. The not so good: Headlight not functioning (suspected bulb is gone), blinkers are static (suspected relay isn’t working), seat latch is missing (might be able to track one down soon). It is unregistered. I purchased from Yamaha Retro Spares without any books/papers, but it shouldn’t be too hard to get on the road again. I have videos of it running.
