1986 BMW R80RT – $6,500

SELLER SAYS: Very original BMW, except exhaust mufflers. Bought to wreck for parts for my other RT but it’s in too-good condition. Runs well, new clutch plate and front master cylinder. Will need new exhaust collector box, has rust holes from sitting, and possibly mufflers and fork seals. Been off the road since 2014. I have replaced fuel lines/cables and top end gaskets and ridden it a few times. Possibly new tyre as well, plenty of tread just old. Small cracks in right side fairing. I would guess original kms from service book. Has most tools in the tool kit, BMW first aid kit and tyre repair kit. Paint original and good condition. Paint on engine and front forks is faded or gone. Will be a very good bike if someone wants to finish it, I have way too many bikes apparently and am having a hip replacement in October so don’t really need this bike – but am not giving it away.
