Old Ducatis help celebrate marque’s 90th at Imola

WHILE most of the motorcycling world was focused on the brilliant Chaz Davies and his Ducati at the recent Italian round of the world super bike titles, another feature with an even bigger dose of nostalgia was happening in the background.

In celebration of Ducati’s 90th anniversary, more than 70 old Dukes took to the historic Imola circuit for a one-of-a-kind parade.

Ducati’s history was well represented with bikes ranging from the Superbikes of the ‘80s and ‘90s, to the first Monsters of 1993, the 1970s’ Desmos, right down to some perfectly preserved Cucciolos.

Davies and team mate Davide Giugliano were in pit lane to enjoy the spectacle.
