THE Bike Shed Times has launched its expanded range of calendars for 2022, featuring a traditional double-A4 wall calendar for the study or garage, a smaller 20cm x 20cm desk calendar for the office, and seven separate old-fashioned single-sheet poster calendars that would look perfect on the back of a toilet door!

The nine calendars all feature photographs from The Bike Shed Times photo catalogue, taken by Editor Peter Terlick.

Peter said he was delighted to expand the range for 2022.

“We have traditionally released a wall calendar in time for Christmas, but this year we’ve decided to offer a whole bunch of choices,” he said.

“For the wall and desk calendars we’ve selected a dozen of our favourite photos, showing bikes that are just a little away from the usual ‘poster bikes’ but still marvellous machines we’d love to have in our shed. And with these calendars, we kinda can! For the cover, we’ve stuck with tradition and again featured the image of the very shed that motivated the creation of The Bike Shed Times.”

Peter said the inclusion of a selection of single-sheet poster calendars was inspired by a visit to a friend’s farming property in Western Australia’s Great Southern region.

“I visited a mate’s farm a while back and there, on the back of his dunny door, was a single-sheet calendar with birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates scrawled all over it in messy hand-writing,” he said. “I thought yep, we’ve got to do one of those!”
