John Cortin from Port Lincoln in South Australia didn’t have to wait long to find a buyer for his 1963 BSA, even though it wasn’t even running!

The A65 had been in John’s family for many years, and had been treated to quite a few new parts when the decision was made to put it up for sale.

“When it’s going, it is a good bike to ride,” John said in his advert. “But it’s not running at the moment.”

The bike was listed for sale for $4,000 on The Bike Shed Times on Sunday — and was gone by Tuesday.

“That was a quick sale!” John said.

“I’d recommend The Bike Shed Times to sell my bike. Very happy with the service, pictures and results. Thanks to Peter and the team.”
