SELLER SAYS: This 1981 Ducati 900SS is for sale by online auction with The Bike Shed Times. The bike has just under 14,000km on it and was completely gone through two years ago by Canadian Ducati specialist Paul Lacelle who rebuilt the forks, brakes, and carbs, and the top end. The bottom end is solid but from a GTS, so it’s numbers are not correct. The bike starts and rides beautifully and the Conti mufflers sound fabulous. It has less than 100km on it since being refurbished, and everything works as it should. Features include natural alloy coloured FPS wheels, 40mm Dellorto carburettors, fibreglass Imola-style gas tank and gear gazer. The tires, tubes, battery, paint and graphics were new two years ago. The Imola tank was treated with three coats of Caswell sealer before it was painted. The bike is currently in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The winning bidder will be responsible for shipping costs but I’m happy to assist with logistics (I have experience shipping to Australia). Auction will be conducted in Australian dollars.
